PRE SUGARING / WAXING CARE
Length of hair must be at least ¼ inch long.
Do not shave or trim for at least 2 weeks prior to your appointment.
It is recommended to take a shower before your waxing appointment to remove excess oil, dirt and sweat.
DO NOT use any oil, lotions or creams around the area which will be waxed.
We do not mind if you come to your appointment while menstruating, as long as you are using a fresh tampon or cup. If you are not comfortable with that, please take your cycle into consideration when booking the appointment, if you wish to cancel your appointment with less than 24 hours' notice, cancellation fees will apply.
A pain reliever/anti-inflammatory may be taken 30 minutes prior to your appointment.
Don’t use topical numbing gel as it can interfere with our ability to provide the best waxing results.
Let us know if you have been on any skin medications that could affect your waxing service. These include acne medications such as Accutane, Alpha or Beta Hydroxy Acids, Antibiotics, Benzoyl Peroxide, Differin, Retin-A/Retinol or any other skin thinning medication.
Reduce intake of caffeine on the day of your appointment as it can stimulate the nervous system, making you more sensitive to waxing.
Hidratate, helps to minimize pain.
Avoid sun bathing within 24 hours of waxing, before and after.
DO NOT COME FROM THE BEACH AND DO NOT GO AFTER YOUR APPOINTMENT NEITHER!
POST SUGARING / WAXING CARE
Length Avoid exercise, hot bath/shower, sauna, steam, hot tub, pools and beaches 24 hours after waxing. Sweating can carry bacteria into the pores and can irritate the skin after waxing.
Keep hands from touching freshly waxed skin, minimizing chances of getting irritations or small pimples.
Daily exfoliation is recommended to prevent ingrowns. You can use EYECANDY PROskincare Ingrown hair eraser to exfoliate the skin 48 hours after waxing.
Avoid tight clothing, opt for comfortable, loose-fitting cotton clothing.
Avoid the sun immediately after waxing and please wear sunscreen; recently waxed areas are prone to hyperpigmentation (semi-permanent darkening of the skin) if exposed to the sun.
24 Hour Cancellation Policy
Less than 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling, or arriving more than 10 minutes late, will result in 100% of the booked service being charged.
Your appointment is important to us and we kindly ask you to arrive at all your appointments on time or 5-10 minutes early just in case. If you are a new client, please arrive 10 minutes early to fill our new clients form out.
We allow a maximum 10 minute grace period. If you arrive later, your appointment will be considered MISSED and you are responsible for the 100% of your service charge.
We reserve your appointment time especially for You. Missed appointment or less than 24 hours cancellation prevent us from offering that time to another client. Mahalo for valuing our time and understanding our policy.
